ESAD Colour Challenge 2010

This week I joined ESAD and Leonie for Stamp A Latte has set a colour challenge for girls on ESAD.

Inkspirations Colour Challenge #17

It's the First Inkspiration Challenge for the year, This week is a colour Challenge. Check out Makeesha's Blog HERE, As always The Design Team has made some beautiful cards.

I have used the bird on the branch Stamp Set, the bird I have stamp about 4 times to get a darker impression and also embossed in clear and the birdie is nice and shiny.

Clean and Simple Challenge

Clean and Simple Challenge on Splitcoaststampers check it out here. Use Teal + White + another colour, I used Sahara Sand as my other colour. I haven't used Taken with Teal before so I thought it would be a interesting challenge to play along with.

Yes I needed yet another birthday card for a friends birthday this month.

Haitian Disaster Relief

Help make a difference in the lives of those who continue to suffer from the effects of the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti on 12 January. From now until 28 February, 2010, Stampin' Up!® will set aside $2 from the sale of every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set and donate it to the Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. The Red Cross is already wellestablished in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.
In order to sell as many of these sets as possible and hopefully raise lots of money I will be removing my demonstrator discount. That brings the stamp set including postage to $41.09.

Mojo Monday #122

I haven't played a Mojo Monday sketch Challenge for a while. I needed a card for my Mum's birthday next week, I had in mind that I would create a card using blues and no flowers but look what I have created...


NO blue on the card at all and it has lots of flowers... But I'm hoping my Mum still likes the card.

SU Cardstock: Very Vanilla, So Saffron and Almost Amethyst.
SU Stamps: Sweet Stems, Friendly words jumbo wheel and Sentiment is from the great friends Stamp Set (retired)
SU Inks: Almost Amethyst, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron and Basic Grey.
SU Other: Cutter Kit for the destressing, 1" circle punch for edging around the oval, Tea Party DSP, So Saffron Ribbon and Hodgepodge hardware currently on sale in the inventory clearance.

Hodgepodge Hardware Normal Price is $57.95 but now is $43.45. Clearance ends this Sunday.

I've been having lots of fun with the Pun Fun Stamp Set. It's my baby boy 2nd birthday next week and wanted to created a rocket ship card. He is a typical boy who likes anything that has a engine. I ended up making 3 cards but you will only see 2 as the 3rd one was bad......

Baby Shower Invite

I needed to make 24 baby shower invites the week before Christmas. This is what I came up with using the Nursery Necessities Stamp Set again. I have placed a magnet on the back so it could be placed on the fridge.
