Inkspirations Colour Challenge #16

I saw this colour combo and I was a little unsure on what to do. But I have ended up making 2 very simple cards. Check out the DT have created HERE

The first card I have used the snowmen from Holiday lineup, I have added some glitter to there hats but it's a bit hard to see in the photo.

Card Recipe:
SU Cardstock: Whisper White, Taken with Teal, Real Red and Pumpkin Pie.
SU Inks: As Above.
SU Stamps: Holiday Lineup, Warm Words and So Swirly Jumbo Wheel.
SU other: Dazzling Diamonds, Scallop Edge punch and also watercolouring paper is a must.

Check out the new stamp set from the summer mini catalogue, it's called For Everything I have used the butterfly from Hello again stamp set because it looks like it's landing. Look at the yummy ribbon and button also from the summer mini.

SU Cardstock: Whisper white.
SU Stamps: For Everything, Hello Again and Warm Words.
SU Inks: Taken with Teal, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Staz On.
SU Other: 3/4 polka fot ribbon, Pumpin Pie button.

Journaling 101 week 4

This weeks assignment is Reflective Journaling WOW, very tough. I hate pictures of myself, I found some from last Christmas before I lost some weight. For my journaling, I decided to do a wishlist of some of the things that I would like to do.

All supplies are Stampin' Up! I've used Saraha Sand Cardstock, Really Rust and Pacific Point. The hostess level 1 stamp set Love like You Mean it and Scribble This are the stamp sets. Accessories is a Paperclip, Brads, Buttons, Chip Board.

Inkspiration Sketch Challenge #16

Hi I'm back from Queensland, it was beautiful. Also Yesterday was Reginals in Sydney was great, I had wonderful time and also learnt a thing or two... Now on to the card, I missed Makeeska challenge last week so I have managed to do it this week. Check out makeesha's and the DT creations HERE. This week is a sketch challenge

For this challenge I have used a new toy from the New Summer Mini, Butterfly punch. No more cutting out butterflies. The punch co-ordinates with the flight of the butterfly stamp set and also a new stamp set Butterfly prints which I have used here.

Card Recipe:
SU Cardstock: Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White.
SU Stamps: Butterfly prints and sentiment is from Great Friends stamp set.
SU Inks: Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze.
SU Other: Baja Breeze Double Stitched Ribbon, Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, Eyelet border punch, Ski Slope DSP (only available till end of the month) Butterfly Punch.
I have Rock and Roll the butterflies. Ink up the butterfly in baja breeze and then roll around the edges in Chocolate Chip. Always use lighter colour first and then apply the darker last.

SU Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Whisper White, More Mustard, Brocade blue and Bashful Blue.
SU Stamps: the tree from Forest Friends
SU Inks: Certainly Celery, Old Olive, More Mustard, So Saffron, Brocade Blue and Bashful Blue.
SU Other: Certainly Celery Ribbon, So Saffron Ribbon, Brocade Blue Ribbon and the walk in the park DSP, circle punch.

This weeks assignment is to scrapbook a page on Relationships. I found a picture of my mum and I way back in 1996. I am missing my mum very much as she is travelling around Australia and yes she is my best friend.

SU Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Ridinghood Red and Cardstock Vellum.
SU Stamps: Friend is from the great friend stamp set and also the heart is from the Frame with love stamp set ( available from 1st Dec) .
SU Inks: Ridinghood Red, Not quite navy.
SU other: On Board Timeless Type, Bella Bleu DSP, pearls and flower from the pretties kit.
Non SU: rub-ons for friend and chip board for best.

I have used the cute lion from wild about you stamp set, It hard to see in the picture but his head is triple layed.

SU Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Close to Cocoa, Really Rust.
SU Stamps: Wild about you
SU Inks:Really Rust, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa.
SU Other: Chocolate Chip Ribbon, Windsor Knot DSP, Cutter Kit for the Distressing, Crimper, Vintage Brads. I have also used a stapler for the ribbon, it's my first time and I might try it again.

Backpack gift box
