Mojo Monday 97

I've made this card for the Mojo Monday 97 Challenge but not happy with the card, it didn't turn out the way I hoped. It took 2 days to do because schools back, trying to fix my comments, looking after 4 kids blah blah blah I can go on and on. So I'm determined to still show it.

This card I just wanted Lot's of flowers and butterflies on the card, I didn't have a plan just wanted something pretty. Imogen loved the card, so I achieved what I wanted to do.

Striped Grosgrain Ribbon Share

After my first ribbon share, I'm addicted, as you can see from my cards that I'm using my ribbon from the share so I thought I might run a share again in the striped this time. Striped Grosgain 1/2 (1.27cm) to be split 4 ways you will get approx 2.2metres of each colour. Cost is $22.45 for the 6 different colours. Good Afternoon everyone, I'm trying out another Challenge, check it out and play along too. http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/ . I have used retired DSP for this one and then realised that I don't have any Rich Regals inks (ordering some today). So no stamping for this one. I would love to hear from everyone but my comments don't work but I do have my Uncle looking into my problem, so hopefully soon I can hear from everyone.

Anns Creative Nook Challenge

I was checking out all the blogs that I keep an eye on and Ann has her 50th Challenge and it sounded interesting.
1st create a tent card as per splitcoasterstampers Sketch Challenge SC134.
2nd only use orange, yellow, green and white.
3rd is use NO type off flower on the card.
This is what I came up with

I'm in love......with my new stamp set, Flight of the butterfly. This card has been created for Caitin's 3rd Birthday. Happy Birthday Caitlin. I was a very quick and easy card to make. The DSP is from the hostess level 1 gift. I'm happy on how it turned out.

Autumn Flair

Another Birthday Card using the Bella Rose DSP with the faux stitching and I White embossed and waterpainted the flower. I don't have a square scallop punch but used my border scallop punch created the square.
Card Recipe:
SU Cardstock: Riding hood red, Pink Pirouette and whisper white.
SU Stamps: Autumn Flair (hostess level 2 gift)
SU Ink: Pink pirouette for the watercolouring and real red, white for the stitching.
SU Other: Mat Pack for the stitching, White embossing powder, Button and a bit of pretty in pink ribbon.

Sorry but more about the Guinea Pigs

This is a update from the earlier post, All Guinea Pigs are doing well. Here's a picture of Imogen holding one of the baby's. It's amazing to see how fast they start moving around. Now we have to think of 4 more names to go with the other 3 guinea pigs. We already have Chocolate, Caramel and Licorice (Mum).

News

WE are proud parents of 4 more guinea pigs. About a month ago we had decide that we would get a family pet. Guinea Pigs was about all my Husband would agreed to, so we went to buy 2 baby girls and the shopkeeper said that she had an adult female that she wanted to give to us for free. To my husbands shock I came home with 3 guinea pigs. About 2 weeks ago we discovered that the adult guinea was expecting and was grow larger and larger every day.

Today she gave birth to 4 tiny guinea pigs... We know have 7 guinea pigs........

Owl Card

This card has been created for team training, we do a card swap each team training, this is my first card for the swap (I hope who ever receives the card likes it). I just love the Owls in the Owl together now stamp set from Stampin' Up! I have Watercoloured the owls and added them to a strip of Pumpkin Pie cardstock and used my mat pack for some fake stitching around the edge. I used Good Morning Sunrise DSP and Old Olive cardstock for the base. Added an eyelet and some Pumpkin Pie ribbon.
