Kids cards

It is miserable in Sydney today, Spent a day stamping with friends. The first card is for a 3 year old boy and I have used Fox and Friends.

Yes this card is extra long, I got a bit carried away with stamping the turtles and needed to make a longer card.

Flight of the butterfly is a perfect stamp set for little girls and coordinates with the butterfly punch.

I have seemed to have lost my mojo somewhere!!! I am hoping to find it soon.... This week is a colour challenge from the JUST ADD INK team.

This card didn't take to long to make, by the time my husband had his 45 min shower the card was finished.

Card Recipe:
SU Cardstock: Kraft, Always Artichoke, Rose Red, very Vanilla
SU Stamps: Sanded BG, Medallion, Pocket Silhouettes, Sentiments from Hello Again (returning in new catalogue)
SU Inks: Always Artichoke, Rose Red, Versa Mark.
SU Other: vintage brads, oval punch, bird punch for the branch, twine, circle scissor plus.

Helping Hudson Challenge

I have just completed the first challenge that is running over at the Helping Hudsons Blog. The aim is raise $5000 for a Kid Walker for Hudson, Pop over and check out the details.

I'm not happy with the card.... It's just not right? I don't know......

SU Cardstock: Not quite Navy, Kraft, More Mustard, Close to Cocoa.
SU Stamps: Sanded BG, Inspired by Nature, pocket silhouettes
SU Inks: Close to Cocoa, versa mark
SU Other: clear embossing powder, top note die, hodgepodge hardware, scallop edge punch.

This weeks challenge is to make a male card using Baja Breeze, Kraft, Chocolate Chip. Do you grass from Inspired by Nature works on a Male? I must invest in some male stamps!!!!

Everything on the card is embossed, I have used my trusty Stamp-m-jig for the sentiments. Firstly stamp in Chocolate Chip Ink and then over the top with Versa Mark then cover with clear embossing powder.
