Inkspiration Challenge #25

This week is a sketch challenge from Makeesha and the Design Team, check out the card designs from the team HERE. I love this sketch

I haven't used my crazy for cupcake stamp set this year, so it was time to dust it off.

What do you think of the ribbon? Something we were showed at convention.

Card Recipe:
SU Cardstock: Regal Rose, Close to Cocoa, Rose Red and Very Vanilla.
SU Stamps: Crazy for Cupcakes
SU Inks: Close to Cocoa, Regal Rose and Rose Red.
SU Other: Candy Lane DSP, Dazzling Diamonds, watercolouring paper, scallop edge punch, mat pack, regal rose ribbon, very vanilla and rhinestone brads.

Just Add Ink #19

When I saw the colour challenge from Just Add Ink I was taken back. I had no idea what I was going to do.


But after some thought, I clear embossed the butterfly from very vintage wheel and cut it out. Then used my Bird on a Branch Stamp set. What do you think?

SU Cardstock: Taken With Teal, Elegant Eggplant, Melon Mambo and Whisper White.
SU Stamps: Very Vintage wheel, Bird on a Branch, Short and Sweet
SU Inks: Versa Mark, Black, Taken with Teal, Elegant Eggplant, Melon Mambo.
SU Other: Clear embossing powder, rhinestone is not su.

Fancy Border

Do you remember this card? A while ago I was left a comment from Donna asking on how I did the fancy border. Sorry Donna it has taken so long to get back to you.

Cut 1" wide piece of cardstock or DSP, length is how long you want it.

Then used my border punch along one edge


next step is opional, I then crimped my DSP.


I placed a fold in every valley as per picture, very easy.


The finished result, you will need to use a lot adhesive and have a patience on getting into place.

Convention

I feel like a kid..... I'm very excited I'm off to convention tomorrow. This is the swap card I have made, I have clear embossed the medallion on kraft. Well I should say lots of medallions LOL.

SU Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo, Kraft, Soft Suede and very vanilla
SU Stamps: Medallion, Vintage Vogue and Occasional Greetings
SU Ink: Versa Mark, Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette
SU Other: Big Shot, Little Leaves die, Heat Gun, Clear embossing powder, Clear Rhineshone Brad
