Naming day card

I needed to make a naming day card for my cousin's baby Camryn. I had no idea what to do, so to my inspiration for the catalogue. I was sort off happy with the card but it did take all day as Phoenix just doesn't like sleeping in his cot during the day.

The stamp sets that I have used is I heart hearts and Fabulous phrases. I'm in love with the new in colours that I have used on the card.

Sorry It's been awhile between posts. I should tell that 29 weeks pregnant, yes that means that it makes 5 children. I have been feeling very tired at night, that went I normally do my crafting. I also want to apologize for not being to visit any one's blog to say hello.

This week's challenge at Just Add Ink is Just Add fussy cutting. I used the flowers out of Growing Green stamp set and add a little colour and cut them out.

I found a nice colour combo using my colour coach, perfect plum, sahara sand and blushing bride.

Here's two quick birthday card I have made. The first card I have used a single stamp All a Flutter and masked the butterflies and then added a bit of colour using my blender pens. The colours are Baja Breeze, Crumb cake, Riding hood Red, Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzazz. Also finished the card off with a vintage Brad.For The next card I have I (heart) Hearts stamp set that I have only used once but now twice..... I have again masked the hearts and added a button. For the sentiment I have used my new stamp set Bring on the Cake from the Winter mini. The colours I have used is Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Perfect Plum.

What do you think? I do hope the girls like there cards.....

Well I'm back from Convention and I had a blast, I can't wait for next year. Over the next couple of months I will be using some of my stamp sets that was at risk at being worn out when I first purchased them but after awhile they get shelved and never used. Just Believe has been one of those sets. Check out the sketch challenge from Just Add Ink .

I have used Perfect Plum DSP from Subtles Stack pack and sanded it back a little and then spritzed, I think I went a little too crazy with the spritzer.

A vintage brad and lace to add to the vintage look. I must run, we have swimming and Kumon after school.

This weeks challenge is to Add Friendship or Mateship. I have created a super simple card using lots of whisper white card stock. The stamp I have used is from Flower Fancy, a stamp set I haven't used for a long time. I'm determined over the next couple of months to dust off some of those neglected stamp sets.

It's been awhile since I have had a change to play a challenge. This week's challenge is to recreate a card from your favourite chocolate wrapper,I haven't done this I as MM wrapper's are so boring. So I have taken my inspiration from mini, standard and peanut MM's. I have used Sweet buttons from the winter mini to create my MM's. Imogen has ensured me that there is green MM's!, What do you think? I might to have eat a pack to check it out.

Finally finished my Thank You card that I started over a week ago. I have used one of my favourite stamp sets from the Catalogue, Growing Green. The colours that I have used is Wild Wasabi and Craft White for the fern. I think it looks like snow on the fern and also the flower has been coloured in craft white.

On New Year Day we ventured to Avalon beach Sydney. As I was sitting there watching the kids play, I noticed that the water and sky has so many colours to it. So that where I got my inspiration from.

Since my Brayer and I don't get along, I have sponged everything. This is my first card for the new year and having a struggle to get back into.

Last night Jayne Mercer was running a Girls' Night In Cyperstamp to raise money for breast cancer reseach. Jayne ran 3 Challenges, I did manage to finish 2 and I am hoping to finish the last one tonight. Have a play along HERE.

The first challenge was a colour challenge, pink and a neutral. I have always wanted to do a pink Christmas card, this card is similar to a card I created for my stamp a stack on Friday. It's hard to see but the large snow swirls are in shimmer paint, the card looks very pretty in real life.

A friends sister had a baby boy on Thursday, Baby Archer. So I whipped up this card but I forgot to take my water colouring paper. I used my water colouring pencils on whisper white cardstock, I find using water colouring paper is a lot easier to work.

For the image I have used the new Baby Tee wheel $15.95 and cut out one of the outfits.

Firstly I would like to thank everyone that has left a comment. There's quite a few of us that is keeping Gloria Jeans afloat.

This week my little girl Montana turned 6 and she wanted everything on her card. Well I did manage butterflies, grass, little pony and a number 6.

I have used a combination of the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die and Beautiful Wings embosslits Die also the number 6 I have used the simple numbers Bigz Die. Unfortunately I don't own any of the dies but a big thank you to Jayne Mercer for the use of her Bigz Dies.

The inside I have stamped the pony and added some colour and a basic Rhinestone. Do you like the Designer series paper ? Well it's from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Patterns Stacks.

This week is a sketch challenge from Makeesha and I'm very excited that I'm guest designer.

One of my favourite things to do (other then crafting) is to sit down at Gloria Jeans and enjoy a cappuccino. So for my card I have used woodgrain BG to represent wood panelling at the stores and also a strip of Newsprint DSP for the card marking magazine I love to read while drinking my coffee. The cups and have been embossed and watercoloured in early espresso, marina mist, crumb cake, cherry clobber and then spritzed. What do you think?

This week challenge is Just Add Sympathy. I have used Thinking of You for the sentiments, that's what I would say when there's a lost one. I have used again my favourite stamp set from the new catalogue Just Believe.

This time I have used my marina mist satin ribbon, pretty huh! I still have a couple of shares left.

Hi there,
I sat down on Friday night and crafted with Imogen. Imogen gave me a colour challenge Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, whisper white and I added basic black. My colour challenge for Imogen is Poppy Parade, Peach Parafait, Pear Pizzazz with a neutral.

So I incorporated my challenge with this weeks sketch challenge from Makeesha. Check it out HERE to play along.

Yep I have been having sooo much fun play with my new stamps, punch and that beautiful Satin Ribbon, I still have some satin ribbon shares left if you like to partipate just let me know.

Whoops I was having so much fun play with my new goodies, when finished my card I have noticed my brand new satin ribbon was a lot darker then so saffron.......because it's not so saffron it's Daffodil delight....

New Toys

I received my box of new goodies on Tuesday but hadn't had the chance to have a play as my daughter was having surgery on Tuesday. So this week's challenge on ESAD is to create a 2 layer card. ESAD you say? It stands for Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators for Stampin Up! just one of many perks of being a Stampin Up! Demonstrator.

I have used my brand new Style Beautiful stamp Set and also a vintage brad, I'm in love with the brads.

I started out making a birthday card but the colours felt like Christmas. So my Birthday card has turned into a non traditional Christmas card. I have clear embossed my image, I love how clear embossing brings out the colours.

I love this sketch. I had a little play with my new Artistic Etchings Stamp Set. I have used embossed resist technique using pretty in pink and regal rose.

I've used a brand new stamp Party this way that I received for free from convention (I just love Stampin Up). The DSP is now retired and also Ruby Red is a retiring colour.
